A game-based, theatre-inspired curriculum that
immerses players in role-playing various characters as they navigate mysterious events unfolding at a Chinese banquet. Working together within their groups, they must overcome challenges, solve puzzles, and make strategic decisions, all while deepening their understanding of Chinese culture, values, and teamwork.
For all of our school curriculum design, we also provide custom-designed student journals and comprehensive lesson plans that will allow educators to become game masters in the classroom.
Lesson 1:
In Lesson 1, players receive their scripts, revealing their characters' background stories, personalities, and village connections. The banquet begins with the discovery of a mysterious and precious artifact, sparking intrigue and setting the stage for the challenges and events that follow.
Lesson 2:
In Lesson 2, new events unfold, escalating tensions among the villagers and threatening to spark an argument that could ruin the banquet. Players must work together to navigate the rising animosity and find solutions to calm the situation before it spirals out of control.
